Use of the ILAC-MRA Symbol by accredited Laboratories Use of the ILAC-MRA Symbol by Accredited Laboratories The Israel Laboratory Accreditation Authority is authorized, according to the agreement recently signed with ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) to use the ILAC-MRA symbol shown here:
In November 2005 the Registrar of Trademarks - Ministry of Justice confirmed ISRAC's request to register both logos as trademarks. In light of the above, from 7.9.08, every accredited laboratory is also authorized to use the ILAC-MRA symbol alongside the ISRAC symbol, subject to compliance with ISRAC's requirements on the subject as detailed in procedure 1-455001 - Policy for the Use of the ISRAC Symbol. For this purpose, and as a necessary and preliminary condition to use, the laboratory is required to sign an agreement form for use of the symbol . The laboratory is required to sign 2 original copies of the agreement and to submit them to ISRAC. ISRAC will then sign them and return one agreement to the laboratory.Good luck to all of us!
